About

Three brothers.
One small town.
The lessons already learned.

Dollar Performance did not start as a business. It started with a mother raising three athletes in one house and an older brother driving the younger ones to workouts, figuring out the recruiting process the hard way because nobody handed it to them.

The origin

Denver, North Carolina. Population: not many.

East Lincoln High School sits in a town of a few thousand people, forty minutes northwest of Charlotte. It has produced a national high school record holder, two college athletes and, now, a five-star recruit — all from the same family.

Cameron went first. He set a national high school record for touchdown receptions in a half, finished with nearly 3,000 career receiving yards, made the Shrine Bowl, and played four years of Division I football at Charlotte. Sidney followed on the basketball court — conference Player of the Year, an eight-dunk night, then four years at Lees-McRae. Jaxon is the third, and the first to grow up in a world where a fifteen-year-old can be handed a national brand contract.

Nobody advised the first two. They learned which camps mattered by wasting money on the ones that did not. They learned how coaches actually evaluate film by watching their own get ignored. When the offers and the deals started arriving for Jaxon, the family already knew what the gaps were — and knew that every other family in the Southeast was walking into the same ones.

So they built the firm they wished had existed. Dollar Performance is the first advisory group in the Carolinas focused entirely on high school and college athletes, and it now works with families throughout the Southeast.

Those years also built the relationships the firm runs on. Cameron and Sidney played college ball; Jaxon was recruited by nearly every program in the country and signed with Nike as a high school junior. Along the way the family came to know several of the largest football representation groups in the United States — among them 1 of 1 Agency, Athletes First and WIN Sports Group, firms we expect to work alongside as our athletes reach that stage — along with the evaluators and reporters at ESPN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, 247Sports, On3, Rivals and MaxPreps who decide which young athletes get seen.

The oldest brother, and the person on the other end of every call. Set the national high school record with seven touchdown receptions in a single half — nine catches for 299 yards — on his way to 2,997 career receiving yards, 38 touchdowns and a Shrine Bowl selection at East Lincoln.

Played wide receiver at Charlotte from 2018 to 2021: 60 receptions for 883 yards and eight touchdowns, seventh all-time in program receiving yards, fifth in receiving touchdowns, and a starter in the 2019 Bahamas Bowl. Now a football trainer and nutrition coach, and Jaxon's advisor — a role he holds as Jaxon's sibling, within North Carolina's family-member exemption from athlete-agent registration.

Athlete Development

The middle brother, 6′4″, and the reason the family understands that this work is not football-only. Conference Player of the Year in basketball at East Lincoln, with an eight-dunk game against Statesville that people in Lincoln County still bring up.

Played four-plus seasons at Lees-McRae College, appearing in roughly 126 games and earning multiple Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week honors. He brings the multi-sport perspective — how to manage two seasons, two coaching staffs and two recruiting timelines without breaking down.

Flagship Client

The youngest, and the proof of concept. Five-star tight end, No. 1 player in North Carolina's 2027 class, No. 2 tight end nationally, committed to Georgia over Notre Dame, Miami, Clemson and Texas. Nike NIL signee. The Charlotte Observer's overall Player of the Year for 2025–26.

Every system Dollar Performance uses — the film strategy, the brand package, the trademark filing, the NCHSAA compliance workflow — was built and tested on his recruitment first.

What we believe

Four things we will not compromise on.

01

Eligibility comes before revenue

Any deal that puts a season at risk is a bad deal at any price. We will talk a family out of money if the compliance path is not clean. That has already happened.

02

The parents are the client too

For an athlete under 18, North Carolina requires the guardian to be a party to the agreement. We treat that as the spirit of the whole relationship, not a signature line — every explanation goes to the family, not just the athlete. Paulanne Dollar, Jaxon’s mother and legal guardian, reads and signs everything before it is executed. Every family we work with gets the same standard.

03

Own the name early

Trademarks, usage limits and termination clauses are boring right up until someone else is printing your name on merchandise. We file first and negotiate the license narrow.

04

Small roster, real access

We cap the number of athletes we take because all four disciplines are delivered by the same people who did the evaluation. If you cannot reach us, we have grown too fast.

The advice we give families is the advice we needed and did not get. That is the whole business.
